Intensive Course on ‘Analog Power Circuitry - its Mathematics and Physics’ by Professor Keng-Chi Wu

吳耿志教授密集課程「類比電路—其數學及物理」

IEEE CAS Taipei Chapter and the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the NCTU jointly invite Professor Keng-Chi Wu to offer a 18-hour intensive course 'Analog Power Circuitry - its Mathematics and Physics' this October at the NCTU. People from all EE related fields are welcome to attend.

IEEE CAS Taipei Chapter與國立交通大學電機工程學系，共同邀請吳耿志教授於今年10月至國立交通大學講授密集課程「類比電路—其數學及物理」，所有電機領域相關學生、學者、研究員、業界人士及政府單位人員均歡迎參加。

Sebastien Marion is a passionate entrepreneur, a lean-startup practitioner, and a hard-working individual who sees through his goals. He has created a number of technology companies ranging from web-development to consumer-oriented web services. As one of founders of Comufy, the world’s biggest real-time CRM system, Sebastien is currently working on making the world’s biggest real-time CRM system yet bigger at King where he currently holds the position of Principal Product Owner in Barcelona. He Holds a Ph.D in Computer Science from the University of Kent, and loves anything to do with technology.

Talk 1: Dr Fakhrul Zaman Rokhani (Universiti Putra Malaysia)

Topic: Reliable and Energy Efficient Network on Chip

Duration: 30 mins (incl Q&A)

Fakhrul Zaman Rokhani received the B.S. degree in University of Technology Malaysia, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degree from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, USA. He was with Intel Penang Design Center as visiting professor designing chipset for Intel Core i3/i5/i7 processor on 32nm Intel process technology, visiting scholar at the ASIC & Systems State Key Lab in Fudan University, China, visiting assistant professor at Al-Neelain University, Sudan and engineer at MIMOS. His current research interests include low energy/power and fault-tolerant System-on-Chip design, Network-on-Chip, bus coding and interconnect design and smart systems and sensors. He teaches undergraduate and postgraduate level course covering computer architecture, embedded systems and design automation and physical design for system-on-chip. He serves as a past chair for IEEE Consumer Electronics (M) Chapter, committee in the IEEE CAS (M) Chapter and was a Treasurer for the IEEE GOLD. He serves on the technical program committees for IEEE ICCAS’13, APCCAS’10 and ASQED’09. He was the Publication chair for IEEE APCCAS’10, IEEE ICCAS’12, ICCAS’13, and ICSyS’15. In addition, he has chaired many sessions at regional and international conference in the areas of VLSI design.
